Climate neutral, PFC free and light weight are the hallmarks of the Guide backpack with no-fuss handling. Hard-wearing materials, further improved ice axe and helmet attachment systems, a stowable rope strap, and hip fins make this backpack a versatile companion for demanding projects – and compatible with a climbing harness. The new lid design provides fast access to the main compartment. And there is a detachable mesh helmet holder integrated into the lid, which can also be repositioned onto the front of the pack.

Made without PFAS

This product has been manufactured by deuter without the use of per- and polyfluorinated chemicals with the aim of reducing reliance on substances that are harmful to the environment and health.

PFAS are used, among other things, as a waterproofing finish due to their water, dirt and grease-repellent properties.

deuter now uses an environmentally friendly DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish that is harmless to human and animal health.

Green Button certified product

The Green Button is a government-run certification label for sustainable textiles. Everyone who aims to purchase socially and environmentally sustainable clothes should look out for the Green Button. There is currently no other label like the Green Button. It demands that mandatory standards are met to protect people and the environment. By increasingly adopting materials and technologies for our collections that have a smaller carbon footprint, we are taking positive steps toward reducing our CO_² emissions.
