In 1971 Giovanni Bittante founded a company specialised in the production of technical footwear and boots for high-altitude mountaineering and the outdoors: Kayland®. His technical skills immediately enabled him to create high quality products and, together with his far-sighted vision and ability to anticipate market trends, led him to found the Kayland® Professional Team, a group of technical experts in the mountains.
