Ankle Lock System
It is the exclusive Kayland system allowing a precise and secure closure of the ankle, while guaranteeing at the same time, the possibility to move naturally.
Upper
The foot-hugging upper is made of abrasion-resistant fabric with PU reinforcement and features an extremely durable rubber toe bumper.The elasticated wrap-around gusseted tongue is open on one side only. It wraps the shin and ankle bone perfectly without overlaps or compression points: the t is made even more comfortable by the hard-wearing and light protective edge and lycra cuff.
Smart Lace System
The Smart Lace System is fast and ensures a snug fit, with a double lace stopper button to maximize performance and ensure an outstandingly precise fit, which is further enhanced by the highly advanced asymmetrical positioning of the closure that allows correct flex.
Sole Unit
Its secret is the new construction technique used for the sole unit: the foot sits directly on top of the soft PU midsole to maximize cushioning and ensure precise foot placement, as well as providing impact resistance on rough terrain.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

In 1971 Giovanni Bittante founded a company specialised in the production of technical footwear and boots for high-altitude mountaineering and the outdoors: Kayland®. His technical skills immediately enabled him to create high quality products and, together with his far-sighted vision and ability to anticipate market trends, led him to found the Kayland® Professional Team, a group of technical experts in the mountains. Thanks to their experience and know-how, it was possible to bring a new avant-garde approach to the way footwear is designed and produced, which still characterises the brand's products today.
