Colltex Hotmelt Adhesive Tape

Breathe new life into your trusted climbing skins with the COLLTEX Hotmelt Adhesive Roll. As an essential piece of kit for any serious ski tourer or backcountry enthusiast, this 4-meter roll is the ultimate solution for restoring the adhesive power of your skins, ensuring unwavering reliability on every ascent. Don´t let worn-out or contaminated glue compromise your mountain adventures; this reglueing tape allows you to perform professional-grade maintenance at home, extending the lifespan of your valuable gear.

The primary benefit of the COLLTEX Hotmelt Adhesive Roll is the complete restoration of your skins´ grip to your ski bases. Over time, skin glue can become less effective due to contamination from dirt, pine needles, and snow, or simply from repeated use. This can lead to frustrating and potentially dangerous situations where skins fail to adhere, especially on steep or icy skin tracks. By applying a fresh, even layer of high-performance adhesive, you regain the rock-solid connection and peace of mind you need to tackle challenging terrain with confidence.

Designed for simplicity and efficiency, this product features an innovative hotmelt transfer system. The process is significantly cleaner and more precise than traditional tube glues. Simply remove the old, tired adhesive from your skins, lay down the new transfer tape, and apply gentle heat with an iron. The hotmelt adhesive transfers seamlessly to your skin plush, creating a uniform and durable bond that rivals the performance of brand-new skins. This straightforward application saves you time and eliminates the mess, allowing you to get back on the snow faster.

This hotmelt adhesive roll is the perfect accessory for your pre-season gear preparation or for mid-season repairs. Whether you are meticulously preparing for a multi-day traverse or just ensuring your equipment is in peak condition for the next powder day, having this spare part on hand is a smart investment. It empowers you to be self-sufficient in your gear maintenance, saving you the cost and downtime of sending your skins away for service. Ensure every stride upwards is secure and efficient with a perfectly reglued pair of skins, powered by the proven quality of COLLTEX.
